California-based, Emmy award-winning photographer Jonathan Sprague approaches his projects with a work ethic that harkens blue-collar integrity and commitment to authenticity. With a skill set steeped in experience and academia, he is happiest exploring unfamiliar places and collaborating with his photographic subjects.
Jonathan is a gentle giant who warms the environment and culls real moments from celebrities to survivors. His diverse skills range from editorial to landscape, portraiture to advertisement, and conceptual art to video.
When he isn’t behind the camera, Jonathan is teaching photography, hiking in the forest with his dog Tilly and his favorite lady Anna, and finding the best ramen in town.
