Mashid Mohadjerin in a visual artist and photographer whose work explores the boundaries between documentary and art. She works as a portrait photographer and creates photo-essays for publications, while continuously questioning and developing new ways to visualise complexer issues in various formats such as video, collage, photography and text into installations. Her work has received various international awards. Her most recent book “Freedom Is not Free” received the Author’s Book Award at The Rencontres d’Arles. She is currently working on her upcoming book and continues to develop new installations for her exhibitions.
