Daryl Visscher and his producer Angela Hartwick relocated to Mumbai, India.

Daryl splits his time between East and West, working most of the year in the Middle East and the Indian Subcontinent. As often as possible, Daryl escapes the madness to spend time at his remote ranchland in Western Canada, where he and his wife have built a log cabin and the beginnings of a completely off grid, self-sustaining homestead. Daryl Visscher’s editorial clients include Vanity Fair, The New York Times, Time, and Forbes.  He specializes in industrial and corporate photography, working with mulit-national clients such as Alstom, Qatargas, Mubadala and The United Nations.

Angela Hartwick has lived abroad for most of her life, working on various projects in the music, fashion, and film industries.  She currently lives in Mumbai, India, where her work as a still photographer and producer keeps her in awe of this mad, mad world.

If you are near the Toronto area this weekend be sure to stop by the Contract Photo Fest where Brent Lewin will be showing his elephant skin series as well as “a really cool 3-D installation showing stereo images on old school toy viewmasters.”

The festival runs May 1 through the 31st and is located at the Engine Gallery.
