Misty Keasler

Misty Keasler is a native Texan who started taking pictures at 7 with a Polaroid camera. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Columbia College Chicago she began shooting projects and assignments around the world. Her book “Love Hotels: The Hidden Fantasy Rooms of Japan” was accompanied with a solo museum show and shows in New York and Dallas. Her work is included in the permanent collections of The Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and the Dallas Museum of Art among others. Clients include Harpers Magazine, Newsweek, TIME, Fortune, The New York Times Style Magazine, Dwell and the London Daily Telegraph Saturday Magazine. She holds an MFA from Bard College and currently lives in Dallas, Texas with her husband and a small flock of backyard chickens.
