Robyn Twomey

Robyn Twomey (pronounced 2 me) began photographing in college because of an innate and overwhelming obligation to document. After graduating from George Washington University with a degree in Liberal Arts, she moved back to her native Bay Area. She is now biCali, living in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. Twomey is taking photo assignments around the world for magazines like Fortune, Time and ESPN. Her insatiable appetite for storytelling has led to a series of personal photo essays on subjects as diverse as bay area hip hop and former playboy bunnies. She thrives on making iconic images with elements of unpredictability, as spontaneous as life itself.
