Erika Larsen is a storyteller who uses photography to delve into the concepts of time and humanity's relationship with nature. Erika frequently collaborates with individuals who share a strong connection to nature. Erika is a Fulbright recipient who spent years studying the North Sámi language, leading to her first monograph Sámi, Walking with Reindeer. She later created her second monograph, Materia Prima, which explores the themes of ritual, time, and meaning. Erika is a National Geographic Fellow and Explorer who leads workshops and lectures on storytelling. She has received the Eliza Scidmore Award for her innovative, inclusive, and conservation-minded approach to storytelling.
