Gunnar Knechtel

Gunnar Knechtel is a German photographer who lives between Barcelona and London. After studying photography at “Lette Verein” in Berlin he moved to London to start photographing feature stories for various international magazines.
In addition to his photographic work for magazines and corporate clients, he dedicates a lot of time and passion photographing his personal stories.
Gunnar Knechtel is available for editorial, corporate and commercial assignments worldwide. Gunnar flies a Dji Mavic 3 drone and holds the A1, A2 and A3 drone licences and for Spain the STS-1 and STS-2. He produces videos (interviews, short takes, etc.). For larger productions he works together with a Spanish cameraman/-woman and sound engineer.
His photographic work has been awarded with the Observer Hodge Award, Natja Award and he was amongst the winners PDN award 2018.
