Jared Moossy is an award winning photojournalist and filmmaker. He began his career as a conflict photographer for over a decade he made a seamless transition to cinematography. Lending a philanthropic eye to the lens he was able to capture both the tragedy of war and the beauty of the people affected by it. This photographic/ documentarian background yields a unique aesthetic vision to his cinematic work; that which skillfully elicits emotion while preserving the beauty of the moving picture. In 2011 he was asked by director Michael Mann to shoot the limited documentary series for HBO called “Witness”. In 2015 he shot the feature film “Wheeler” for director Stephen Dorff. In 2017 he co-directed the documentary “A Lucky Man” for Time Magazine. The film won a Webby in 2018. In 2019 he was awarded the IATSE Emerging Cinematographer Award.
